Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Civil Finishing Foreman to oversee and execute finishing operations on our prestigious high-rise residential and commercial developments. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader, responsible for ensuring all interior and exterior finishing works are delivered to the highest standards of quality, in strict compliance with project specifications, and within the defined project schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, coordinate, and lead on-site finishing teams across all trades, including masonry, plastering, painting, tiling, carpentry, joinery, false ceiling installation, and waterproofing.
- Execute and manage all finishing activities from start to completion, ensuring adherence to approved architectural drawings, material specifications, and method statements.
- Conduct daily inspections to ensure workmanship meets established quality benchmarks and project requirements.
- Coordinate closely with Site Engineers, Project Managers, subcontractors, and the QA/QC department to resolve technical issues and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Monitor daily manpower deployment, track productivity, and provide accurate progress reports.
- Ensure strict compliance with project timelines, driving finishing activities to meet critical milestones and handover schedules.
- Inspect all materials delivered to site for quality and quantity, and enforce proper storage, handling, and usage to minimize waste.
- Proactively identify and report site issues, potential delays, or material shortages to the Site Engineer/Project Manager.
- Enforce and promote a strict safety culture, ensuring all team members and subcontractors comply with company and regulatory safety protocols.
- Actively participate in snagging, de-snagging, and final handover processes in collaboration with the quality team and client representatives.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or a relevant trade certification is required.
- Minimum of 5–8 years of proven UAE experience in finishing works, specifically on high-rise building projects (residential/commercial).
- In-depth ability to read and interpret construction drawings, finishing details, and understand trade sequencing.
- Demonstrated capability to manage multiple finishing trades simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong working knowledge of local authority regulations and best practices for safety on high-rise construction sites.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate teams and coordinate effectively with various stakeholders.
